How long will artificial grass last?
Using the best materials means it can last for as long as 20 years. Good artificial grass is porous and should drain like real grass. It is also flexible, and it doesn’t need the attention that the ‘real thing’ requires. Sunlight will not affect good quality artificial turf as the fibres can be UV stabilised to British Quality Standards.
What types of surfaces are the best?
The good news is that artificial grass can be laid on most surfaces, including soil, existing turf, concrete, tarmac or paving. Sloping areas are not a problem and experts know how to lay the artificial grass for the best ‘pile’ finish. Most artificial grasses are softer than the real thing, which is great news for kids and pets. If laid property, and as fake turf is porous, and rainwater should drain away.
What is the impact on the environment?
